Corn Fiber
Description
A soluble fiber made from the outer layer of corn/maize, known as soluble maize/corn fiber (or resistant dextrin), is a prebiotic and dietary food-grade fiber derived from non-GMO corn starch.
The flavor of soluble corn fiber is mild yet slightly sweet when used in applications. In a wide range of food and beverage products, it can be used as a bulking agent, as a fat or sugar substitute, or as a fiber additive.
As a low-calorie soluble food material, resistant dextrin offers a number of qualities, including low calories, heat resistance, acid resistance, and freezing resistance.
