Citrus Fiber

Description

Natural citrus fiber is a light yellow to yellow colored fiber that has the characteristic odor and flavor of citrus fruits. It is derived from the peel of lemons by selecting, crushing, and fractionating the peel. As a result of this production process, we are able to ensure the highest quality and integrity of the final product. Citrus fiber is increasingly being used in products because it can enhance gelling, thickening, stabilizing, and water-binding capabilities. It can also be used as a substitute for eggs and oil in baked goods. Citrus fiber has many benefits, including low pH and freeze/thaw stability, which are beneficial to many food products, including bakery, beverages, dairy, dressings, dairy alternatives, frozen foods, pet food, plant-based meats, processed meats, and sauces.
